In addition, VALUE5 specialists appreciate having the freedom to work wherever they please. Their optimism and their own working environment also have a direct influence on every contact they have with customers.
What conditions must I fulfil to become a VALUE5 specialist?
To become a VALUE5 specialist, you must run your own business for which you have active and continuous orders. To work for VALUE5, you must be able to work professionally, with a high level of service orientation and contribute a high standard of customer focus. Furthermore, you will be a communicative and friendly person and have a high level of technical competence in your own industry. If yu are even-tempered and can solve conflicts professionally in demanding situations, then you are just the right person for VALUE5.
In which towns do training sessions take place?
Training takes place in all major German cities and are always organised with regard to specific choices of locations and date depending on the actual number of applicants from the respective region.
What will be examined in the on-line test?
By using the on-line test, we can determine if you have the technical prerequisites for a particular project. Furthermore, we can see if you are able to apply this knowledge directly and relevantly to the context.
How would I work with VALUE5?
You will work with VALUE5 via the specially developed virtual platform which you access via the internet. There, you register by logging in and are then ready to process telephone queries from customers. While you are logged in, the system will continually forward calls to your number. You will be able to record technical data while you are processing customer queries using the system and see and manage all the relevant parameters in real time.
Why isn’t VALUE5 a call centre?
VALUE5 is not a call centre because the entire working and organisational structure of the
company is maintained via an internet-based virtual infrastructure. This is how VALUE5 enables the specialist advisors to offer their services from all over Germany – the only thing necessary is an internet connection. You don’t have to first make your way to work and then, as is normal in many call centres, mark time sitting in large, loud, over-populated offices. Rather you can work for VALUE5 from the comfort of your own home or from your own office.
What are the minimum technical requirements for working as an advisor?
The basic technical prerequisites for working as an advisor are having a PC with an operating system which is as up-to-date as possible, a DSL flat-rate connection with at least 1000 bandwidth units and a landline telephone number (ideally ISDN), which will be used exclusively for VALUE5.
Do I need any specific support software or hardware to work with VALUE5?
In many cases, to work with VALUE5 you will need the appropriate project-specific software and´hardware. This will be made available to you free of charge by VALUE5.
Are there specific requirements for the telephone connection that I make available?
There should not be any call-waiting devices, telephone answering machines, or similar, connected to the telephone number which you make available.
Will my telephone charges increase as a result of processing customer queries?
Your telephone charges will not increase as a result of processing telephone conversations. It is not necessary to make long distance calls. VALUE5 specialists do not need to telephone
customers; all queries to be processed are incoming calls. If it is necessary to return customers’ calls, these will be carried out by our system without incurring costs to our advisors.
Does VALUE5 provide the necessary hardware to implement the service and are business costs incurred then reimbursed?
As a VALUE5 specialist, you are responsible for providing and maintaining the technical
equipment necessary to provide the contractually specified services.
Do I need a taxpayer identification number when working with VALUE5?
Yes, as a self-employed trader you need a taxpayer identification number and a VAT
identification number to work with VALUE5. At the beginning of your contract, VALUE5 will also need official confirmation of your tax liability.
How will I be paid for my advisory work?
You will be paid monthly for your advisory work. The relevant amount will be credited (by bank transfer) to your account during the following month.
How is work planned for accepting customer queries by telephone?
VALUE5‘s virtual platform structure permits VALUE5 specialists to plan their shifts on line. The week before you want to work you enter your requested dates for the coming week and you are then booked for these hours, i.e. you are expected to work at these times and you are expected to be able to accept customer queries in these periods.
Is it possible for other people to accept customer queries by telephone in my name?
All VALUE5 specialists receive a personal account which allows them to log into the system. This guarantees the security of your identity. Other people cannot use your advisor’s account.
Can I work while I am holiday or travelling?
In principle, you have the option of connecting with various locations. You are always required to have a DSL internet connection and a landline number. Otherwise you can work irrespective of location.
Do I have to be available for a minimum number of hours?
Shift planning and booking is, for the most part, left up to each VALUE5 specialist. A specialist’s advisory work should always be one of several contracts held by him or her as an independent trader and should be viewed as an additional job. Once you are a VALUE5 specialist, you can work with us as often and for as long as you like and as is reasonable for your current order situation. You should always be available for a minimum of 15 hours per week.
How much money can I earn as a VALUE5 specialist?
VALUE5 operates its customer service with the help of specialists according to the order volume from its customers. Pay is calculated individually for each VALUE5 specialist, and depends on the order volume, the advising work during the month, the technical and project-specific skills necessary and your individual performance assessment.
